The W coast of the Cap Gros presents some rocks. La Vall is one of the most impressive landscapes which include the unspoilt beach of Ses Fontanelles, Es Tancats and Platja des Bot. Orientated towards the NW, they are a good anchorage, protected from the winds of the 2nd and 3rd quadrants. At 150 meters from Punta Rotja towards the NW are the Lloses de la Punta Rotja (slabs). At 80 meters N of Punta d’Enmig, there is also a rock at the superface of the warer, Baix de Cala Fontanelles.
Cala Morell is sheltered from all winds except those in the 4th quadrant. It has enough depth to anchor small boats. At 200 meters, at 300º from Punta des Frare Bernat, there is a rock with a minimum depth of 0,9 meters. At 400 meters away from Punta de Cala Morell and N there is a rock with a minimum depth with 5,5 meters of water above.
